How to Make Moonglet: A Healthy, Delicious Meal
Ingredients required:
Moongdal – 1 cup
Green chillies – 2 to 3 (finely chopped)
Ginger – 1 inch
Water – 2 to 3 tbsp
Red chilly powder, dhania powder, haldi powder, amchur powder – a pinch of each
Salt, as per taste
Baking soda – ½ tsp
Veggies – Onion, Tomato, & Capsicum
How to make moonglet:
1. Wash the moong dal thoroughly and soak it for 2 hours in freshwater.
2. Drain the excess water and transfer the soaked moong dal into a blender jar.
3. Further, add green chillies, ginger & water. Grind into a smooth paste.
4. Transfer the paste into a bowl. Add the spices & baking soda. Mix well.
5. Add in the veggies & mix.
6. Heat olive oil in a pan, add the mixture & cover & cook on low flame. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then flip.
7. Cook on the other side for a minute as well. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup & enjoy!
