Cheesy Broccoli Mash Recipe

Ingredients:
300 grams of broccoli
White cheese, about the size of a matchbox, full-fat
3 heaping tablespoons of strained yogurt
1 large clove of garlic
1 teaspoon of salt for boiling broccoli
Optional for topping:
4-5 tablespoons of olive oil
Hazelnuts
Optional: 1-2 hot peppers
How to Make Broccoli Mash:
1. Wash the broccoli and cut it into 2-3 pieces.
2. Put it in a pot, add salt, and boil for 10 minutes.
3. Drain the boiled broccoli and transfer it to a mixing bowl.
4. Mash the broccoli with white cheese, yogurt, and garlic using a fork. (You can add salt if necessary, but it’s usually not needed.)
5. Transfer the prepared mash to a serving plate. Optionally, roast hazelnuts in olive oil and add some hot peppers, then pour over the broccoli mash before serving.
