What to do with beet roots? Here is an easy, healthy and lucious beet recipe which is made with gluten free ingredients.
Ingredients
1 large or 2 medium or 3 small beets
1 Granny Smith (sour) apple
1/2 lemon
Walnuts
Parsley
1-2 tbsp olive oil
1 garlic clove (optional)
Prep the beets as shown on the video. Don’t peel the beet skins before cooking for preserving nutrients. Cook in boiling water. If you use pressure cooker they’ll be ready in 10-15 minutes according to their sizes. If you’re using a saucepan, small/medium beets will be ready in 20 minutes, large beets will need 30-40 minutes to be cooked.
Grate the beets and the apple. Chop some parsley or any other herb you like. Add all other ingredients. Enjoy 🙏
