Though delicious, your store bought pesto sauce is actually pretty calorie dense, so I made this lighter version that doesn’t skimp on the flavor!

It’s not only tasty, but 1/3 of the calories of your typical pesto! You can also play with the herbs depending on what you have on hand.

INGREDIENTS

•1 packed heaping cup basil
•1/2 cup parsley
•1/2 cup chives
•1/4 cup walnuts
•1/4 cup parmesan
•1- 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
•2-4 tbsp lemon juice
•2 tbsp water
•1 tsp @osmosalts creamy pesto sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS

•Add everything in a blender, and blend until smooth!

Makes 16 individual servings (1 tbsp)

Total calories per serving: 34

Protein: 14g
Carbs: 18g
Fat: 6g
