Healthy Cabbage Momo

Happy New Year!!

Let’s start 2024 on a healthy note with this super healthy and nutritious momo recipe. These vegetarian cabbage momos/rolls are filled with paneer and lots of veggies.

Serves: 10 momos

Ingredients:
3 tsp oil
1 tbsp garlic
1 tbsp ginger, grated
½ cup chopped onion
¼ cup grated carrot
¼ cup grated cabbage
1 green chilli, chopped
200g grated paneer
¼ cup chopped capsicum
¼ cup chopped green onion
Salt to taste
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tsp red chilli sauce
1 tsp soy sauce
10 cabbage leaves
1 tbsp oil

Method:
In a pan, add oil, garlic, ginger and onion. Cook until onions are translucent.
Add carrot, cabbage, green chilli. Cook for 2 min.
Add paneer, capsicum and green onion. Mix well.
Add salt, black pepper, tomato ketchup, chilli sauce and soy sauce. Mix well. Keep it aside.
Boil cabbage leaves for 8-10 min.
Trim off the hard part of the leaf.
Add paneer filling on the leaf.
Fold the sides and roll.
Heat a pan over medium flame. Pour oil.
Place the momos in the pan, seam-side down.
Cook until they become slightly golden in colour.
Flip and cook the other side as well.
Serve hot with momo chutney.
