A perfect way to make your breakfast more nutritious and filling. Today I’m sharing another healthy all-in-one batter on request from many of you.
This batter is made with millets, soya beans making it protein rich, fiber rich, calcium rich, and gut friendly.
Ingredients:
Idli Rice / ఇడ్లీ బియ్యం – 1 cup
Urad Dal / మినప్పప్పు – 1 cup
Soya Beans / సోయా బీన్స్ – ½ cup
Finger Millet / రాగులు – 1 cup
Foxtail Millet / కొర్రలు – ½ cup
Method
Wash all the ingredients well and soak them for 6–8 hours.
After soaking, rinse them once again and grind into a smooth batter.
Allow the batter to ferment overnight or for 8–12 hours, depending on the weather.
You can also store the batter in the refrigerator without fermenting and use it for up to 4–5 days.
Once fermented, use the batter to make soft idlis, crispy dosas, utappam and paniyarams.
