My Low-Calorie, High-Protein
Sausage Egg & Cheese Bagel:

310 calories | 32 g protein

Ingredients

Low Calorie cinnamon raisin bagel
(70 cal, 9g protein)
1 Turkey Sausage (Italian Preferably)
1 large egg
1 slice reduced-fat cheddar or American cheese
Spray oil
Salt, garlic & pepper (to taste)

Optional: 28 g Fat Free Cream Cheese (+ 30 calories & 3 g protein)

Instructions

Cook & Season Sausage in pan or George Foreman
Toast the bagel while the Sausage cooks
Cook the egg (perfect over-easy)
• Heat a pan over low-medium heat
• Lightly spray oil
• Crack the egg into the pan and season
• Add 1 to 2 drops of water and immediately cover with a lid
• Let it steam until the white sets but the yolk stays runny
Assemble the sandwich

• Optional Fat Free Cream Cheese (28g on Top Bagel)
• Place Sausage on the bottom bagel half
• Add the cheese slice
• Microwave 20 to 30 seconds until melted if residual heat doesn’t melt it
• Add the over-easy egg
• Top with the other bagel half

Break the yolk and enjoy
