94 Cals, 16.5g Carbs, 1.5g Fat, 5.5g Protein
β³οΈ Ingredients (makes 10 Ice Cream Bars):
200g Fresh Strawberries
5g Zero Cal Sweetener
Big Pinch of Sea Salt
60g Vanilla Whey/Casein Blend Protein Powder
4g Sugar Free/Fat Free Cheesecake Pudding Mix
5g Strawberry Emulsions
1 Container Fat Free Cool Whip (about 215g)
10g Freeze Dried Strawberries
β³οΈ Strawberry Shortcake Layer:
8 Golden OREO Thins w/out cream
8g Freeze Dried Strawberries
βοΈ Directions:
1οΈβ£ Dice fresh strawberries. Add to bowl with zero cal sweetener and sea salt. Mix together and let sit for 10 minutes. This is called Maceration which pulls the cellular water from the strawberries thus no iciness for these bars.
2οΈβ£ Add strawberries and the maceration water to a blender along with your protein powder and pudding mix. Blend till smooth.
3οΈβ£ Add to a bowl and then fold in your frozen fat free cool whip. Try not to overmix.
4οΈβ£ Then add your crushed freeze dried strawberries and mix those in.
5οΈβ£ Evenly add to 10 ice cream bar molds (got mine off amazon). I only had 8 tbh so I just added the rest to mini cupcake molds for little ice cream cakes.
6οΈβ£ Add to freezer till frozen (at least 3-4 hours).
7οΈβ£ Then take out of molds once frozen and enjoy!
Optional: You can roll these in the strawberry shortcake layer. If so, add back to freezer for another 1 hour after to make sure they fully set.
P.S. These do melt fast!
I store these is the freezer in a freezer safe bag once frozen so I can just grab and go when sweat treat oβclock hits during the week!
