Burger King is giving customers an unexpected gift this Christmas.
The fast food chain is launching its first festive menu in more than a decade.
And the star of the show is the new Ultimate Camembert Wagyu, which sees the iconic Wagyu burger given a holly jolly makeover.
But that’s not all; there are several other seasonal items coming soon, including a ‘golden’ side, plant-based burgers, and a very merry dessert.

What’s on Burger King’s Christmas menu?
As we’ve already heard, the Ultimate Camembert Wagyu is the main event on the menu.
This is described as a ‘hearty festive upgrade’ on the original burger, which launched in March and had Gordon Ramsay’s seal of approval.
The updated version sees a 100 per cent British wagyu beef flame-grilled patty topped with a breaded camembert patty, tomato cranberry ketchup, truffle black pepper mayo, and fresh rocket, all inside a soft brioche bun.

The regular Wagyu burger is also making its return, which features a 100 per cent flame-grilled Wagyu beef patty, sweet caramelised onions, pink pickled onions, crispy onions, pepper rocket, and caramelised onion mayo stacked in a soft, seeded brioche bun.
If neither of these tickle your fancy, there’s a Festive Whopper and Festive Plant-based Whopper, with tomato cranberry ketchup. But it’s worth noting that these will only be available for home delivery.

On the side, you can add an order of five Golden Onion Rings, and the meal can be rounded off with a slice of Chocolate Orange Cheesecake.

When does the Burger King Christmas menu launch?
These items will be available at participating restaurants nationwide, on the BK app, and via delivery platforms from November 3.
It’s not yet known how long the festive menu will be available, so if you’re keen, you’ll want to try them while you can.

In other fast food news, KFC has also unveiled its Christmas menu, which goes hard on gravy.
The line-up features a festive twist on the popular Gravy Burger, which was last sold in 2021.
Renamed the Gravymas Burger, this features a crispy Original Recipe Fillet stacked with a hash brown, melted cheese, and a sprinkle of sage and onion seasoning.
There’s also brand new Festive Loaded Fries which combine the chain’s signature fries with Popcorn Chicken, and gravy mayo, plus sage and onion seasoning.
Greggs has unveiled two rounds of Christmas menu items, and recently brought back the beloved Festive Bake.
McDonald’s is yet to announce its seasonal specials, but the chain did recently add several products to its World Heist drop, including Chicken McWings from China.
Metro got an early try of the new Burger King items…
Metro video producer, Jed Bradley, got an early taste of the new Christmas burger, and while he enjoyed it, he wouldn’t rush to get another.
He said: ‘With a box that unfurls like a spring rose, this can trick you into thinking the premium price you paid for The Ultimate Camembert Wagyu was worth it.’
Jed describes the camembert patty as ‘more bready than cheesy’, adding that overall the burger was ‘a fun and tasty festive treat’ but it ‘won’t turn my head from my usual double Whopper with cheese’.
Lifestyle editor Kristina Bealand was a fan of the cheesecake, though.
‘If it isn’t Christmas until you’ve had a chocolate orange, this is the treat for you,’ she claimed.
‘There’s no mistaking the flavour; fans will love it. The texture of the top layer of… goo… is a little bit jelly-like, but if you can get past that, it tastes great, and the biscuit-y base has just the right amount of crunch.’
