One of the best things when you are sick is a bowl of soup!! Its amazing how science shows that Grandma was right about making that chicken soup for us! 😀 And naturally Gluten free and Dairy free, which is a wonderful plus for those of us who have to avoid those! 😀
Since most of us are NOT consuming enough fruits and vegetables to get the minerals and vitamins we need, home made broth is a wonderful way to boost your intake! I keep some of this nutrient dense bone broth in my freezer so it is always on hand when I am feeling ill!

Here is my simple recipe/guideline for the Broth/Stock:
1-3 onions
1 head Garlic
3 stalks celery
1 Package mushrooms
4 large carrots (peeled)
2 bay leaves
2 tsp-3tps salt
1 tsp pepper
Chicken Bones
8-12 cups water, Do NOT overfill
Directions
Simply add all ingredients to the instant pot. Then fill to right under MAX fill line.
Press Manual, and set timer for 120 minutes. Let naturally release for 10-30 mins.
Pull broth out and strain. Salt to taste. Last in fridge for a week, in the freezer for about 3 months.
