Today we are making OYAKI.
It’s a traditional Japanese snack made easy with pantry ingredients.
Oni means “demon,” Manju means steamed cake.
Because it looks like Oni’s horn sticking out from their head, it is called “Oni Manju.”
Eating “Oni” is a metaphor of beating difficulty!
Let’s beat the virus!

・5 Oni Manju
200g sweet potato
2 tbs sugar
2 tbs soy milk
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 ts baking powder
a pinch of salt
