In this video, I share with you the recipe for a Vegan Plant-Based Burger which I would call “Sweet Potato Black Bean Burger”. This is my go-to recipe if I am craving a burger but want it to be healthy as well as be quick and budget-friendly.

This recipe was made using only 1 cooking stove, that was my goal as I am aware a lot of people do not have big kitchens or a lot of kitchen equipment.

I have used vegan yogurt by Oatly, but if you don’t mind dairy then you can use normal yogurt and even add cheese.

I just made two burgers but with the portion size given you will be able to make at least 10-12 patties so you can refrigerate it and save it for later.

Ingredients used:
Burger Patty:
1 1/2 Sweet Potato (I got rid of the skin after boiling it), 1 white onion, 150g Black Beans, 3/4 cup cooked Quinoa, Spices ( 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon cayenne powder, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon coriander, 1 teaspoon garlic powder), 1 teaspoon salt (beans were unsalted), 1 teaspoon pepper

Yogurt Sauce:
2 tablespoon Oatly Oats Turkish Yogurt, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon onion powder

To assemble the burger:
Brioche Bun (or any other bun that does not cost you a lot), 1 Tomato, 1 Avacado, 1 leaf Lettuce

Preparation time is 5 mins, Cooking time is 30 mins
