Hi everyone! I hope you enjoyed this recipe! People often ask me how I can be vegan as a Turk as there is this misconception that the Turkish cuisine is basically just kebabs! So I wanted to share a really simple (actually 2) Turkish vegan recipe that is healthy and yuuummmyy!! Please give this a go, you will love it!! 🤤🤤🤤

The Ingredients that you will need for the salad:
🥬extra fine bulgur wheat
🥬half a lemon
🥬spring onions
🥬cucumber
🥬tomatoes (do not add if you are not going to eat it right away)
🥬parsley
🥬lettuce
🥬1 small clove of garlic
🥬half teaspoon of dried chilli flakes (add more if you want more spice!)
🥬teaspoon of black pepper
🥬teaspoon of salt (or to taste)
🥬teaspoon of cumin
🥬teaspoon of dried basal (use fresh if you cannot get dry)
🥬2.5 tablespoons of tomato paste
🥬[OPTIONAL BUT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED] pomegranate sauce
🥬basically any other greens you want 😀
🥬infinite amounts of love!!

Ingredients you will need for the Kumpir (stuffed potato):
🥬medium/large potato (or any size you want to be honest)
🥬bulgur salad
🥬sweetcorn
🥬[optional] edamame beans
🥬pickled red cabbage
🥬some olives
🥬[optional] hummus or tzatziki
🥬any other greens or veggies you want!
🥬ketchup or any other sauce

The ingredients you may need to go to a Turkish supermarket for:
🥬extra fine bulgur wheat (use fine if you cannot find extra fine)
🥬dried basal herb
🥬pomegranate sauce
🥬Tomato paste (I recommend the brand ‘öncü’)
