Paneer Sandwich is one the most loved and universal snack item, they are easy to carry in your tiffin or awesome to make when you are expecting guests, it can also be added in you kids bday party menu, and no matter what the occasion is, these paneer sandwiches are meant to impress 🙂
COOK EAT REPEAT –
Ingredients :
– 150gm of Homemade /market bought paneer
-1 big onion
-1 big tomato
-2 green chilies.
-Salt to taste
-1/4th tsp turmeric powder
-1/4 tsp chili powder
-1/4 tsp jeera powder
-1/2 tsp garam masala
-Bread slices
-Tomato ketchup
-Cheese (optional)
Method :
– Finely chop the onion, tomato, green chili
– In a pan heat 1 tbsp of oil, add the green chili and onion.
– Cook the onion till they turn transparent
– Add salt to taste, 1/4th tsp turmeric, 1/4th tsp chili powder, 1/4th
tsp jeera powder and 1/2 tsp garam masala.
– Add the tomato and cook till it turns soft and mushy.
– Shred the paneer with you fingers while adding it to this masala
– Cook it on a medium flame for another minute and keep aside.
– Toast 4 bread slices. use any round cutter to give them a round
shape. we used a steel glass in this case.
– Do not throw away the bread edges we can make BREAD POHA

– Now take the bread slices cut into round shapes and spread
tomato ketchup on the base layer and add the Paneer Burjee,
keep adding layers in a similar manner.
– To add some zing to your sandwich you can get creative with the
decoration, we here used eyeballs on a toothpick to make it look
interesting.
– Serve this at any party and you are sure to win a lot of hearts, especially the little ones 🙂
