Green Moong Dal Sundal Recipe is a super healthy South Indian stir fry of sprouted whole green moong dal.
It can be eaten as an evening snack or even be packed in a snack box.
Green Moong or Whole Moong Dal is packed with protein and low in carbohydrates and is one of the best vegetarian superfoods out there.

Ingredients

Green Moong dhal 1 cup

Green chilly 5

Ginger 1inch

coconut 4tsp

oil 4tsp

mustard seeds 2tsp

split urad dhal 2tsp

red chilly 2

hing little

salt as required

Preparation

1 Wash moong dhal 2 times and soak in enough water overnight or for 6hrs.

2 Make sure to drain the water completely and close it with lid or put in cloth and tie tightly so sprouts are generated. Rest it for 6hrs .

3 Once sprouts are generated, can boil in enough water as seen in the video.

4. coarse grind the chilly,coconut,ginger,salt for giving spiciness to the sundal.

Notes

Make sure while boiling the sprouted moong dhal ,the water level must be just above dhal and not more.

Make sure to boil the sprouts in medium flame for 5 to 10min and check if its becomes soft when touched the dhal.

Its best healthy snack for everyone and its must snack recipe in everyone’s kitchen at least once a week.
