How To Make The Best Mashed Potatoes.
We’ll need these;
*3 Medium-sized Potatoes
*Butter
*Milk or Cream Cheese
*Cheese
*Salt and Pepper
Instructions:
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until tender but still firm, about 15 minutes; drain.
2. In a small saucepan heat butter and milk over low heat until butter is melted. Using a potato masher or electric beater, slowly blend milk mixture into potatoes until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Potatoes also offer vitamin B6, vitamin C and iron, and are an excellent source of potassium. Studies have linked potatoes and their nutrients to a variety of impressive health benefits, including improved blood sugar control, reduced heart disease risk and higher immunity.
A medium potato provides about 20% of the recommended daily value for potassium, an important mineral that may help blunt sodium’s effects on blood pressure.
