Hi guys, I’m Weiwei and I’m a home cook, a mom and a new immigrant from China.
I grew up in Chinese home cooking and I was surprised to find out how people here in the US associate Chinese food with unhealthy take outs.
My mission is to introduce to global foodies what Chinese home cooking is like and how to utilize that to make your own healthy but exciting meals.
Today I’m starting with something super simple- broccoli salad. Broccoli is such a common ingredient but it’s so easily associated with boring and sad “healthy meals”. My broccoli salad recipe is full of flavors and it has a bit of a kick since I threw some chili pepper in there.
