Banana Nut Bread is traditional American Sweet Bread. It is Moist Delicious Nutty Chocolaty Bread and easy to make, a quick snack and can be enjoyed with a cup tea or coffee at any time of the day. It can be easily stored in refrigerator for 1 to 2 weeks

Ingredients:
3-4 ripped bananas
1 cup vegetable or canola oil
1 cup white or brown granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract (Vanilla Essence)
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (Maida)
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped Walnuts of your choice (pecans, black walnuts, almonds, macadamia’s, etc)
1/2 cup of chocolate chunks (optional)

In a large bowl, smash the bananas till they turn into a soft paste. Add in eggs (optional) and vanilla and mix well.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add dry ingredients mixture to wet mixture and mix well.
Pour batter into a greased 9″ by 5″ loaf pan and bake in a 350*F 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick or knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan and then turn out. Slice and serve or store in an air tight container for 5-6 days. Can also be stored in refigerator for 1-2 weeks. Makes 1 loaf. Enjoy!!
