How To Make HEALTHY Seed Slice Recipe!
In this video I give you a food tutorial of how to make healthy seed slice. This is a nutritious snack full of protein great for the lunchbox! Subscribe for more!
INGREDIENTS:
– 5 cups of Nuts/Seeds of your choice (Can include a small amount of salted nuts. If you don’t use any salted nuts, you may want to add a pinch of salt to the recipe.)
– 1/2 cup of shredded coconut
– Dollop of honey
– Mixed spice (Optional – also good with ginger or cinnamon)
– 1/2 cup Coconut Oil (You may need more if the mixture is too dry)
Recipe:
1. Add 5 cups of nuts/seeds of your choice into mixer (Thermomix or food processor) and blend into a fine mixture
2. Add coconut oil and shredded coconut and mix until sticking together
3. Add a dollop of honey and mixed spice (optional), blend again
4. Put into pan and spread out, use the back of a fork to press the mixture down
5. Put in fridge overnight or for a few hours
6. Cut into squares
