Since we made our videos lately, we had been eating cakes with sugar. This time we had ripe bananas and blueberries so we made a healthy version of banana bread with blueberries and honey – no sugar. It’s yummy and soft and it’s good for breakfast or snack for school.

Ingredients

200g plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
60g melted butter (room temperature)
3 mashed banana with a fork
110g honey
2 tsp vanilla extract
190g blueberry

Note:
You can add 1tsp cinnamon if you like.
You can use chocolate chips to substitute the blueberries.

Method
1. Preheat the oven to 175 degree celcius.
2. Grease the loaf pan with a little bit of butter
3. In one bowl mix together the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt)
4. In second bowl mix together the wet ingredients (melted butter, mash banana, honey, eggs, and vanilla extract)
5. Get 1tbsp dry ingredients to the blueberry and mix. It helps the blueberry not sink.
6. Pour the dry ingredients into wet ingredients and gently fold then add the blueberries.
7. Pour into the loaf pan.
8. Bake for 50-60minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean.
( It took 50 minutes at our oven.)
