100% Spelt Bread Recipe
500g Organic Spelt flour
10g Sea Salt
1 package fast acting yeast
300ml water
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Honey
Mix well in mixer the flour, sea salt and yeast. Make flour well and add wet ingredients. Using a bread dough hook beat into a bread ball. Knead bread ball 10 minutes. Let double in size. Punch down for 1 minute and then let it proof for 1 more hour on parchment paper exactly how you’re going to bake it.. Should almost double in size again. Preheat oven to 450 and have 1 cup room temp water ready. Place bread in oven and put water in roasting pan beneath bread loaf. Close oven immediately. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Turn oven down to 350 degrees and bake for 10-17 minutes. Until bread is hard on top and hollow on top.
