While regular sour cream is loaded with unhealthy saturated fats, cashew sour cream is a great dairy-free alternative packed with protein.
Simply mix the following ingredients into a food processor:
– 1 cup of raw, unsalted cashews that have been soaked overnight
– 1/4 cup cold water
– 1 teaspoon lemon juice
– 2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
Mix for 3 – 4 minutes until smooth and fluffy
