This can be made with a combination of any seasonal fruits, like I have made here. Usually smoothies are made with either non-dairy milks like soya milk, coconut milk, almond milk etc, as well as with dairy products such as yogurt. Here, I have used hung-curd which is easily available in every household in india.
Toppings are chosen so as to heighten the nutritional value of the smoothie bowl, and to add a crunchy – nutty texture to it. You can use any combination of super-foods such as walnuts, sesame seeds, flax seeds, watermelon seeds etc. This can make a very good healthy recipe for a pink food challenge!
Ingredients of this smoothie bowl: Serves 2
Dragon fruit – 1/2 (you can also use a full fruit)
Bananas – 2
Honey – 2 to 3 tbsp
Yogurt/hung curd – 100 gms (1 small bowl)
Toppings:
Grated coconut
pineapples
walnuts
watermelon seeds
sesame seeds
