I have been trying to count my calorie intake using myfitnesspal. In search of healthy recipes I was glad to come across these meal ideas. The crockpot meal I made first and served with some not so healthy sides… Real life- I had filmed that before I had started eating healthy but swap out the sides and viola healthy meals!
I am so bad about sticking to new health goals but having easy, DELICIOUS recipes available to me has made things easier! I want to get more and more into low carb. We will see how that goes. I do make recipe videos after all 🙂
Thai Turkey Meatballs
* I swapped almond flour for quick oats
* I also cooked mine in the oven @ 400* for 25-30 min
Turkey Stuffed Peppers
* I added fresh spinach – highly recommend
Apple Pork Chops
16 oz baby carrots
4 pork chops ( around 1 inch thick)
1.5 c apple juice ( I used light apple juice)
1/2 c unsweetened apple sauce
1/3 c apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
– Optional: add in 2 apples sliced to crock pot
Spray crockpot with cooking oil
cover bottom with carrots
place pork chops over top
mix remaining ingredients together
pour over pork chops
cook on high for 4 hours
