It is an easy vegetarian breakfast, snack or nashta recipe that you can make quickly at home and that too in very low oil. If you use vegan bread then it is a great vegan breakfast recipe too. As dal or lentils are high in protein and gluten free, this toast is much healthier in comparison to sooji or butter toast. You can easily give these toasts in kids lunch box also.
