Working from home nowadays has afforded me to be flexible with my time – eat when I want to, sleep when I want to, play when I want to…wait…I’m just dreaming, ain’t I?

In reality, my hubby and I work from home. While managing the household, we take turns looking after our hyper-five-year-old kid, assisting our high-schooler with his mind-boggling schoolwork while I’m nursing a two-month-old baby, and so on and so on.

Time is such an “elusive” thing to manage at least for us. We want to be productive with our work but somehow something always gets in the way.

And when it comes to cooking nutritious meals, we’re no exception to feeding our children that not-so-healthy stuff. I’m not trying to rationalize but let’s admit it, when you don’t have enough time, cooking instant foods is the best way!. They’re easy to make, very convenient to eat, and taste so addictive ( instant noodles and pancit canton, anyone?).
