Alyena is making her two favorite energy balls. One is banana bread inspired and the other is chocolate coconut. If you are craving a healthy snack that keeps you full for a long time, try these delicious energy bites.
Oatmeal Peanut Butter Energy Balls Recipe:
2 cups of oatmeal
1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
1/2 cup of mashed bananas (about 1 large)
1/2 cup of peanut butter (or nut butter of your choice)
1/4 cup of maple syrup
2 Tbsps of chia seeds
1 tsp of cinnamon
1 scoop of collagen or protein powder (optional)
1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips
Blend all together
Take one heaping Tbsp, roll into ball
Once all balls are rolled, chill in Freezer until set.
Chocolate Coconut Date Bites Recipe:
20 pitted dates
1 cup of unsweetened coconut flakes
1/4 cup of coco powder or cacoa powder
1/2 cup of hemp seeds
1 or more Tbsps of water
Blend all together
Take one heaping Tbsp, roll into a ball then roll into the coconut.
Once all balls are rolled, chill in Freezer until set.
