Fruit Cocktail or Fruit Salad is a dish consisting of various kinds of fruits.
It is very popular in the Philippines during Christmas and Holiday Season.
In different forms fruit salad can be served as a dessert, an appetizer or a side salad.
When Served as an appertizer or dessert, a Fruit Salad is sometimes known as a Fruit Cocktail, often connoting a canned product.
FRUIT COCKTAIL SALAD
Ingredients:
1 can – Fruit Cocktail
1/2 cup – Sugar Palm or Kaong
1/2 cup – Coconut Gel or Nata De Coco
500 ml – All purpose cream or whipping cream
300 ml / 1 cup – Condensed Milk
100 grams / 1/2 cup – Cheese, cubed
