Steak and Shrimp Zoodles

Ingredients:
1 lb flank steak thinly sliced
1 lb raw shrimp
2 large zucchini
3 bell peppers (green, red, yellow, and/or orange)
1 small onion
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp corn starch
vegetable oil
garlic powder
salt
pepper
cajun seasoning
crushed red pepper (optional)

Directions:
-Cut steak into 1-2 inch squares. Place in a bowl and add soy sauce, 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp pepper, 1 tbsp garlic. Slowly mix in corn starch. Set to the side while you prepare the other ingredients.
-Rinse shrimp and place on top of a paper towel to dry.
-Remove seeds from bell peppers and slice into thin strips. Slice the onion into similar strips. Combine all and season with about 2 tbsp of cajun seasoning. Set off to side.
-Peel zucchini. Using a spiralizer, make your zoodles! Lightly chop them up so they’re not one continuous strand. Set on top of a paper towel and set off to side.
-Peel and devein shrimp. Season with 1 tbsp cajun seasoning. Set off to side.
-Set large pan to medium and add oil. Place pieces of steak in separately and cook thoroughly then remove from pan.
-In the same pan you cooked the steak, place shrimp and cook until pink then remove from pan.
-Also in the same pan, add sliced veggies. Cook until soft and translucent.
-Add cooked steak and shrimp back to pan. This is where you’ll add crushed red pepper if you’d like.
-Wrap the zoodles in paper towels and squeeze out water. (see video for reference)
-Mix zoodles into pan for a minute, or just until they are hot and somewhat tender. This happens really quickly, make sure you dont cook for too long since it will release a lot of water. Serve immediately.

Notes:
-I like to add lime, more crushed red pepper, and Sriracha once served
-You can easily make this dish with only steak or only shrimp
-I never ever measure! 🙁 So the measurements are complete estimations, but you can tweak the amounts (especially on the seasonings) to your liking. 🙂
