What’s up everyone! This video might be the first in a summer dinner series I have in store for this summer! In this video, I’ll show you how to make the moistest, most flavorful lemon and garlic baked tilapia filets. I’ll also be making some homemade yellow rice from scratch to go with it as well as some Old Bay roasted broccoli for those veggies! These three dishes can all be served separately with other recipes but I hope you enjoy this combination! See you in the next video!
INGREDIENTS
Baked Lemon & Garlic Tilapia
– tilapia filets
– salt and pepper to taste
– smoked paprika
– zest from 1 lemon
– 2-3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
– lemon slices
Yellow Rice
– 1 cup rice, rinsed until water runs clear
– 1 ¼-½ cup water/stock
– minced garlic
– 2 diced tomatoes
– 1 small onion, diced
– ½ TB turmeric powder
– ¾ packet of Sazon flavoring
– 1 bay leaf
– olive oil
– butter
Old Bay Roasted Broccoli
– broccoli, cleaned and sliced into florets
– black pepper
– Old Bay seasoning (about 1 TB, but it’s up to you!)
– olive oil
– lemon zest (optional)
All given measurements are an approximation and meant to be tailored to suit your individual preferences and dietary needs!
