How to make Horsegram Idli / Kollu idli at home?
Ingredients:
Horsegram / Kollu – 1 cup (200 gm)
water
salt

Step by step procedure
1. Wash and soak Kollu overnight or atleast 4 hours
2. Filter soaked water and grind it into nice batter. You can use soaked water.
3.Remaining soaked water you can use it to make sambar
4. Add salt’
5. Mix well
6. No need for fermentation
7. You can make Idlis.
8. Serve hot with Kara chutney.
9. To make it as a balanced DIET serve it with white pumpkin sambar.
