Moong dal salad | Healthy snacks or side dish | Kosambari recipe | No Oil – vegan salad

Yellow Moong Dal Salad is a healthy and delicious salad made with soaked moong dal and vegetables. Here’s a recipe you can try:

▶️▶️Ingredients:

1/2 cup yellow moong dal
3/4 cucumber, chopped
1/2cup, grated carrot
1/4cup, grated coconut
2tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped
1 green chilli, finely chopped
Salt to taste
Lemon juice to taste

▶️▶️Instructions:

1. In a bowl soak yellow moong for an hour. Rinse well and strain it using strainer.
2. In a large plate/mixing bowl, combine the sprouted moong dal, chopped cucumber, grated carrot, grated coconut, green chili, lemon juice.
3.Mix everything well.
Note: Add salt just before serve the salad.
4.Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for a few minutes before serving.
5.You can also add other vegetables of your choice such as onion, tomatoes, radishes, or grated cabbage to make the salad more nutritious and flavorful. Enjoy your delicious and healthy moong dal salad!

🔷Note:(Optional) You can also tempering the salad with oil, mustard seeds, red chilli’s and curry leaves
