Oats Beetroot Dosa | No Fermentation Dosa Recipe | Instant Dosa Recipe | Healthy Breakfast Recipes
Healthy journey can really be so delicious; if you think abut using healthy ingredients in popular recipes. Here is my favourite Oats Beetrot Dosa. Health benefits of oats and beetroot both served with some masala dosa twist in it. You just won’t be able to stop at once. The addition of rice makes it more interesting as dosa actually becomes crispy. Enjoy.
Ingredients :
1.5 cup mildly roasted Oats (alternatively rolled oats can be used)
1/2 cup soaked Rice (soaked in water for 2 hours. Alternatively suji or besan can be used)
2-3 Green Chillies
1 small Ginger Knob
Salt as per taste
1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
1 boiled medium Beetroot
Oil
Aloo Masala (Sabji)
Method :
Soak 1.5 cup mildly roasted Oats in water for 15 min
Take 1/2 cup soaked Rice in the mixer jar
Add 2-3 Green Chillies
Add a small Ginger Knob
Add Salt as per taste
Add 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
Add 1 boiled medium Beetroot
Grind the mixture without adding any water
Further add soaked Oats and again grind to a smooth batter
Let’s quickly make dosa
Heat the pan, pour a little Oil and wipe with a tissue
Spread the batter on pan by keeping the flame slow
Drizzle some Oil & cook dosa on high flame
Flip when it turns golden-brown and cook other side too
(You can also add aloo masala on it to make masala dosa)
Fold dosa in the middle and transfer on a plate
(Make more dosas with the same procedure)
