Idli sambar is a staple food in many South Indian households❤️

✅Tamilnadu has lot of indigenous rice varieties and Poongar rice is one of such in Red rice. It is also called as women rice as there are lot of benefits for women health.

Recipe:

1. Soak red rice (3 cups) with toor dal (1 cup) and Fenugreek (1 tbs) together for 6 hrs
2. Soak Urad dal separately for 3 hrs atleast
3. Grind the two mixtures separately first Urad dal followed with rice mixture.
4. The blended mixtures can be combined together by adding salt. Mix it with hand for better fermentation
5.Keep it aside for 8-12 hrs.

Now it is ready to make soft idli
