Weight management and a healthy lifestyle requires that you cut back on refined grains. Many of the traditional “breakfast” items are made using flour. This almond waffle/pancake is both healthy and low carb and makes a great substitute for the traditional counterpart.
The recipe was shared with me by coach Lefe. I tweaked it to work with what I have
1 egg
6 tablespoons almond flour
1/3 cup shredded carrots
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon flaxseed
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup milk.
Oil for frying
