How not to make them at home! I’m no expert in the kitchen as this video shows…I make these recipes up so sorry if it doesn’t work at home, hopefully it does and you enjoy the snack! (Yes I was pronouncing agave nectar wrong – silly me).

I tried these the next day on a ride and they were actually really nice.

To make 12 balls :

Ingredients:
250g dates (pitted)
40g oats
40g mixed seeds
40g chia seeds
2 tablespoons agave nectar
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon

Recipe :
1. Put all the ingredients apart form the agave nectar into a food processor, and blend for 1 – 2 minutes
2. Add in the agave nectar and blend until combined – be careful not to overheat the food processor!
3. Take out the mixture and roll into 12 balls, place on a sheet of baking paper on a chopping board, plate or tray
4. Put in the fridge for 45 minutes to an hour
5. Enjoy on your rides or runs or whatever exercise you enjoy! Tip – take in tin foil to prevent them getting mushy if it’s hot!
