This easy-to-follow recipe will show you how to make these yummy and healthy appe step by step.

Serves: 4-5 people
Ingredients:
Semolina (Suji): 100 gms
Ankurit Moong Dal: 150 gms
Curd: 50 gms
Onion: 1 medium sized
Green Bell Pepper: 1 medium sized
Carrot: 1
Frozen Peas: 50 gms
Frozen Sweet Corn: 50 gms
Salt: Acc to taste
Fruit Salt: 1 tsp
Rai: 1 tsp
Curry Leaves: 10-15
Ghee: 2 tbs
Heeng: 1 pinch

Steps:

1) Soak semolina in curd for 5 minutes.
2) Grind moong dal with some water and turn it into a thick batter.
3) Mix moong dal batter and semolina together.
4) Add all veggies and salt to this batter.
5) In a pan, heat up some ghee, add hing, curry leaves and rai to it and stir for about 10-15 seconds on medium heat.
6) Add this tadka to the batter and then proceed to add fruit salt and 2-3 tsp water.
7) Mix it well.
8) Now heat up an appam pan and grease it well with ghee.
9) Pour batter in it, cover it and cook for 2 minutes.
10) Flip the appe after 2 minutes and cover the pan and cook for two more minutes.
11) Take it out and serve with your favourite chutney.
