Sourdough Discard Tortillas 🫓😍

It’s SO hard to find tortillas at your typical grocery store with clean ingredients that are also affordable!

Don’t let that sourdough discard go to waste. You can make endless things with it!!

These sourdough discard tortillas are 100% organic and have no preservatives, sugar, gums, inflammatory oils, or excess fat 🙌🙌

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup sourdough starter discard
1/4 cup organic olive oil
1/3 cup water
1 2/3 cup organic all purpose flour
1/2 tsp fine sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine the starter, oil, and water with a stand mixer or by hand. Add in the flour and sea salt. Mix until a dough forms. Knead with your hands a few times and then allow to rest for 30 minutes.

Form eight evenly sized pieces of dough. Roll each one out into a tortilla shape. Cook on a pan over medium heat for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side. You know they are ready to flip when you see bubbles forming.

These are roughly 160 calories, 7g fat, 22g carbs, and 4g protein each.
