Breakfast Hash
1/4 tin potatoes
1/2 onion
4 tomatoes
1 eggs

Pizza Wrap
Weight Watchers wrap
1tbsp tomato puree
20g cheese
ham

Chilli meatball orzo
Serves – 4
Takes – 45 minutes
Calories – 521 kcal
Syns – Free

Ingredients

For the meatballs

– 500g 5% fat mince beef
– 1 small onion, peeled and finely chopped
– 1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed
– 1 tsp mild chilli powder
– salt and pepper to taste
– low-calorie cooking spray

For the sauce

– 1 onion peeled and chopped
– 1 medium red pepper chopped
– 2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
– 2 tsp mild chilli powder
– 1 tsp smoked paprika
– 1 tsp ground cumin
– 1 x 400g tin chopped tomatoes
– 1 tbsp tomato puree
– 600ml beef stock
– 1 x tin kidney beans drained and rinsed
– 200g orzo

Hi guys and welcome back to my Channel at home Michelle and to another what I eat in a day video so today I’ll be sharing with you everything that I eat throughout the day so for breakfast lunch dinner any snacks most of you know that I am swap following sliming World

So all of this will be slim and World friendly I’ll put up any sins or anything if you’re also calorie counting then I will put the calories for everything that I’ll be making and I’ll also include all of the ingredients in the description box down below I really

My first weighin um I’m just doing swiming world at home I’m not going to like groups or anything but yeah I just weigh myself so I weigh myself every Monday morning and yeah I’m absolutely buzzing because I’d lost 5B which and technically it wasn’t even a week it was

Only 6 days so yeah really happy with that I feel like when you have a little loss at the start it just gives you that boost doesn’t it and it’s not just the weight loss neither I just feel like so much better in myself I know a lot of

It’s probably in my head but yeah I just feel like less bloated I feel like I’ve got more energy yeah just yeah just so much better in myself so yeah and I think a having the same breakfast so I quite like to mix it up and then it also keeps

Me full for ages so I’ll show you how to make that now all you’ll need is some Tim potatoes half an onion some tomatoes and then I’ll put a fried egg on Top put a frying pan on a medium to High Heat spray it with some fry highlight or I’ve just got this this is quite good actually I can’t I’ve got this from Tesco it’s cooking spray but it’s with coconut oil instead of the normal fry light and I do quite like this one

Actually um and then all you want to do is just pop in your sliced onion so just thinly sliced half an onion and just fry that off for around 5 to 10 minutes just until it’s nice and soft I fried the onions for about 6 minutes and you can see that

They’re starting to soften now and then you just want to add in the chopped potatoes this after another couple of minutes add in the chopped tomatoes so I’ve just basically thinly sliced I don’t know around four tomatoes and season with salt and pepper give it a stir and then

It’s ready to put on a plate pop the frying pan back on the Heat spray With A Little More Fry light and then fry your Egg I always just pop the plate on top for the last I don’t know like 30 seconds or something just to make sure that the egg is cooked on top because I hate that runny bit and I find by doing this it Cooks plus it keeps the plate and the food Warm This is a really good breakfast it’s not got any meat in or anything and what I really like about it is it keeps you full for a as well so let’s do the egg test oh you can’t see it but it’s running it’s a good egg um yeah honestly

It’s really nice super easy to make like I said the thing that takes the longest is just frying the onions but it’s only about 5 minutes and you can get on with other stuff in the morning um and then yeah the whole thing is ready in less than 10

Minutes it actually reminds me of um when I was in New York years ago you know when you go to the like the proper breakfast diners and one of the dishes that they often do are like fried potatoes onions tomatoes with an egg on

So this is kind of like a take on that it’s my healthy version of a take on that and it’s honestly it’s delicious and quite different as well to other thing that you would have for Breakfast obviously I’ve got my coffee well always have a coffee in the morning so just have an americ caright with a splash of skimmed milk in it if you like what you can also do is you can make a bigger batch of the onion potato and tomato mix I should have

Probably done that in hindsight but because I was just showing you for this particular video um but normally I would make a bigger batch use all the potatoes keep that in the fridge and then just reheat it in the microwave and then all

You need to do do is just pop an egg on top and then this it will basically then do you like two or three breakfasts throughout the Week so that’s breakfast done completely sinf free fairly low in calories as well and will hopefully keep me full so I’m just going to sit here drink my coffee I’ve then got to take Arabella to school I’ve got a fairly busy morning at work so I’ve got lots of cools um I haven’t

Really got a break or anything so hopefully um the breakfast will keep me full I have got some snacks that I’ve Ed made in the fridge if I do get hungry so yeah I’ll then show you what I eat throughout the rest of the day it’s just gone 1:00 and I’m about to

Have lunch now I haven’t actually had any snacks or anything this morning other than just flit you just drank a couple of pints of water um yeah I just haven’t been hungry to be honest um and I’ve just been super busy I’ve been back to back in meetings and on calls so yeah

I’m just about to break now have a quick lunch break um because then I’ve got another call in yeah like not long actually like 20 minutes so I need to quickly um get my lunch and then I do normally go for a walk on my lunch break

As well but I don’t think I’m going to have time today so I might go for one later on when I pick Arabella up from school or maybe go on maybe go this evening as well but yeah so for lunch today I’m basically going to make a

Pizza wrap super easy to make I’ll show you what’s in it and it’s normally ready in about 8 minutes which is good because I haven’t got long to make it and then eat it this is all that you’ll need to make your pizza wrap so you’ll need

Wraps of some kind I always use these Weight Watcher ones because then they are your Healthy extra be if you are following Slimming World or only 120 calories per wrap obviously you can put whatever you want on it um I’ve just kind of gone through the fridge and seen

What I’ve got so um to put the base on I’m just going to put tomato puree onto the wrap add some sliced Rose turkey breast and then just grate some cheese on top I was going to put some mushrooms on but I couldn’t find them and yeah I

Just I think this will just do and then I’ll probably have a little bit of salad on the side I put a tablespoon of tomato puree on the wrap grate over some cheese and then add the turkey you then want to place it in a preheated oven for around 5

Minutes so literally got about 2 minutes to eat this and I’ve just had it with some salad on the plate as well which I’ve just squirted a little bit of extra I think it’s like 70% fat salad cream on so I’ll just put a thin for that and

Then the rest of it is pretty much sinf free healthy extra a for the cheese healthy extra b b for the wrap and then yeah everything else on there was free so yeah I’m just going to literally quickly eat this and then I’ve got my meeting [Applause] M the dip itself is so easy to make so all you’ll need is some cooked beetroot and a mini food processor so pop that into there probably should chop it up a little bit I’ll just half it slices really easily pop that into there and add a handful

Full of spring onions a garlic clove and about 3 tbspoon of fat-free yogur pop that in there you can add a little bit of lime juice if you want I’ve done that before but I don’t have any so it will just be like This keep blending it until you have a really smooth dip honestly this takes about a minute to make and then there you have it really nice beetroot and yogurt dip and then I’ll just have this with some peppers that I’ve already got sliced up in the fridge honestly it’s

Such a nice snack to have I’m just going to have some of this now and then just keep the rest in a little pot in the fridge and then it’s super handy to have as a little dip to obviously dip veggies or pits is a really nice thing to have

It with for l or sometimes I’ll just spread it on toast um have it with like egg or something on top it’s just a really nice healthy spread and the beetroot has got loads of like antioxidants and everything in it so yeah super healthy for you as Well I always keep some cut Peppers just in a sandwich box in the fridge so I’ll just have some of them with it find this really handy because doing stuff like this and having precut like healthy snacks in the fridge it just stops you from snacking on bad things you know

Just something that’s available like crisps or anything like that um yeah whereas something like this just keep it in there in the fridge and then you’ve always got a handy snack available and I’ll just have a bit of the dip on the side just a couple of bits of that to dip the

Veggies In I finished work now um and Arabella and I are just going to go out for a little walk I mentioned earlier that I normally try and get out on my lunch break just to get some steps in but had no time today so we’re going to go go

Out now um we’re taking her little Annabelle out in the pram as well so yeah we’re just going to go not too far just um kind of walk around the state just to get some extra steps In we’re back from our walk now it is absolutely freezing out there honestly I didn’t realize how cold it was and when we were out as it was getting dark it was just getting colder and colder so yeah roll on those lighter evenings and warmer evenings as well because yeah

It’s just so cold at the minute um so I’ve just got rabella some tea she has her dinner at school during the week like her main meal um so she’s just having like a wrap and um some snacks now and then I’m going to make dinner so

Hopefully Nick should be home from work in about about half an hour so probably just ready just after he gets back so tonight we are having a it’s like a chili conani but with pasta so it’s like chili conani but meatballs um with oo so it’s like a

Mixture of kind of like a roto a pasta and a chili It’s but honestly it’s really nice um it’s quite easy to make as well you you can obviously make the meatballs in advance if you want to but it they only take like a couple of

Minutes to make any anyway um yeah it’s and what I like about this one is it will also do us for another meal as well so when I’m making this normally serve six of us so if it’s just me Nick and Arabella or me Nick and tamson then

Generally there’ll be enough for us to have another meal as well and then I’ll just pop it in the freezer for another evening or you can also make it in the slow cooker but I wasn’t prepared enough today to do that so yeah I’m just going to make it on the hob Now these are all the ingredients that you’ll need to make the dinner it does look like a lot but most of these ingredients you’ll probably have in your cupboard anyway so to make the meatballs all I’m going to do is add half an onion some mints I’ve got 5% fat mints I’ll

Just use 500 G some chili powder and a garlic clove and then for the sauce I’ve got an onion couple of peppers well I’ve got like half of both Peppers that I just had you can use whatever color Peppers that you want couple of garlic cloves beef stock Cube some tomato puree

Kidney beans chopped tomatoes and spice wise you want smok paprika ground cumin and then I’ll also add in some of the chili powder if you don’t want it too hot obviously you can just use a mild chili powder and then some oo as well to

Go in there but yeah I’ll show you how I make it now to make the meatballs add the onions garlic clove one teaspoon of chili powder and some salt and pepper then mix together and shape into around 12 meatballs and place on a plate just gently fry them for around

Four to 5 minutes so they’ve browned nicely and then all I’m going to do is just transfer those to a plate and put to one Side I’m just going to use the same pan it’s already got some like oil in there so all I’m going to do is just add the chopped onions so I just chopped one onion and then chopped the peppers just going to cook that off for about 10 minutes until it’s nice and

Soft left that for a good 10 minutes and it’s nice and soft now I’m just going to put in the garlic I wish prefer to put the garlic in at the end um I don’t know why I find that it can sometimes burn or catch a little bit and it’s not that

Nice so I will put that in at this point just before I add in all of these spices and everything so to this as well I’m going to add a couple of teaspoons of chili powder I might just do actually might do slightly less cuz I don’t want

It to be oh too spicy one te spoon of smoked paprika and a teaspoon of ground cumin then at this point you want to add in a tin of chopped tomatoes 600 mil of stock that I just made up 600 using the beef stock Cube square of tomato puree the

Oo and then lastly the kidney beans KY beans once you’ve given everything a really good stir together then add your meatballs back in pop a lid on and then leave that to simmer BR bring it to the boil and then simmer it for around 10 to 15 Minutes I’ve left it for probably around I don’t know 20ish minutes in total just stirred it every now and then um and now it looks like it’s completely cooked through um I just checked one of the Meatballs just to check they’re all cooked through which they are and then

It should kind of be this consistency so not too watery um the sauce would have thickened up nicely if yours is a little bit watery still um if you just take the lid off and then leave it to cook for a couple more minutes and that should

Absorb any of the liquid but yeah how delicious does this look so as you can see I’ve dished up and there’s still loads less easily enough for another dinner there I’m actually really hungry now um probably should have had another snack or something later on because this is when

I just get really hungry um but yeah I’m sure this will fill me up it’s so delicious it’s like it’s weird because you don’t really know what to expect because it’s literally a mixture of pasta chili meatballs but honestly it’s definitely worth trying it’s just something a little bit

Different and really tasty but like I said if you don’t this is a little bit spicy but if you don’t like it that spicy then just use a mild um chili powder just sitting down for the evening it’s about half 9 now and I’m just going

To have a little snack I haven’t eaten anything else since dinner um so I’m going to have a chocolate mousse I love these it’s like my little treat these are just from Ali and they I think they’re around 90 what are they like 92 calories so if you’re following sliming World they’ll

Come in at around 4 and 1 half sins and yeah I just love them cuz they feel like really light as well but because they’re like a chocolate mousse feel like such a treat um that is pretty much everything that I I’m going to eat today so all I’m

Going all I’ve got left to do now is fill in my food D at the end of every day I was fill in my food diary um I’ve shared this before it’s just from Amazon I think it was about5 but it’s so good just for keeping me on track um so yeah

I’ve just filled this in just to show you what I ended on so I was fill in what was free speed healthy extras I also put my calories um on here as well so you can see for for today I had a really good day today actually only

Ended on 5 and 1 half CS like I said earlier I probably should have had another snack or something before dinner because I was very hungry um and ended on just over 12200 calories which again is really low on calories that’s definitely not um every day and then I

Just yeah kind of put some Reflections on here so I didn’t do any exercise today other than just going for a walk and had a really busy day so that’s probably why I didn’t eat as much just because I was so busy at work um yeah
