Salisbury steak:
APPLES & SWEET POTATOES:
1 c apple juice (from the cooked apples)
1 tbsp cornstarch
2/3 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt
3-5 apples
even amount of sweet potatoes
*Cut apples into slices cook in water until tender.
*Remove from heat and reserve 1 c juice for the sauce
*In small saucepan, melt butter, add sugar and salt
*Combined cooled apple juice and cornstarch together; add to sugar mixture
*Cook over medium heat until clear and thickened
*Add cooked apples and sweet potatoes
