Thattu vadai set is a popular snack that is quite popular in South Indian Town of Salem, its spicy, its yummy, its healthy and its easy to prepare at home. Healthy vegetables like carrot and beetroot makes it a best choice for those who are on diet, but still want to eat something yummy.
Ingredients
100g Thattai
1 cup scrapped carrots
1 cup scrapped beetroot
coriander chutney
Chilly sauce
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 cup coriander leaves
How to make Coriander Chutney
Grind a cup of coriander leaves with 1 green chilli, some salt and a little bit of ginger. Make it in to a paste by adding a little bit of water.
To make Thattu set
Step 1: Apply chilly sauce to one side of thattai
Step 2: Fill it with scrapped beetroot and carrot, coriander leaves and chopped onion
Step 3: Spread coriander chutney to another thattai and place it on top of vegetable toppings forming a sandwich.
