[Applause] [Music] good morning and welcome back to another video this week’s video is going to be a week in my life Vlog but it’s it’s a very exciting one because I think crossing my fingers that this is going to be my last week before I have my baby it will definitely I think be the last Vlog before the baby gets here but I’m officially 38 weeks today and like I said by the time this goes up I will have had the baby so I’m okay sharing this now cuz I have kind of wanted to keep my birth plans to myself until after the fact cuz I just don’t need any input from anybody else but my current plan is I have an induction scheduled for my due date which is 2 weeks from now but I’m really really hoping manifesting believing that she’s going to show up on her own before then so that’s why I’m manifesting that this is the last week before she gets here so I don’t know if you guys can tell but she has dropped big time she’s so big in in there I feel like she’s like running out of room and ready to come out so anyway it’s kind of a funky timing of a week because I’m starting it today at 38 weeks and today’s Thursday so we’ll do like Thursday to Wednesday basically my life right now is just like birth prep like all the birth prep things so I’m eating six dates a day I’m drinking 3 cups of raspberry leaf tea a day sitting on my birth ball curb walking I’m doing something called the M circuit adding like chili flakes to all my food try to make it a little spicier just all the natural things I can do to let her know she can she can make her appearance whenever she’s ready so anyway that’s going to be this Vlog is just kind of my last week or week’s we’re going to say week last week before the baby comes and but it should be pretty fun I like I said like my days are basically just centered around that if I haven’t mentioned this before Matt and I are both from Georgia that’s where both of our families are that’s where our parents live we have no family in California so my parents are coming just to be here for whenever the baby gets here so they’re coming tomorrow and this last week just doing some kind of last minute baby prep getting the house nice and clean I have one of my and I want to say like points of Pride cuz it’s so dependent on your body and your pregnancy but something I’ve been really really happy about is I have managed to continue exercising throughout my pregnancy like I’m 38 weeks and I’m still working out which is amazing it’s so hard but it’s definitely helping me so I’ll probably have a workout in there this week my pilates class I think we’re going to go out to dinner tomorrow with my parents have my 38 we doctor appointment on Monday just to check on her make sure everything’s good and that’s kind of the week so it’s about 10:00 right now I have been up since 6 just going to do some stuff around the house just kind of hang out honestly I might take a nap because I’m like really tired I’ve been sleeping pretty well which is great like I know so many people have trouble in pregnancy but I’ve oh my god I’ve been lucky in that I’ve managed to sleep pretty well during pregnancy I’ll show you guys my outfit of the day at least my outfit for right now because basically the second I’m done doing anything outside I change into comfier clothes but I have my free people movement and hatch uh workout shorts and I also did just order the maternity bike shorts from them too which are Super comfy and then this is have no idea what this is called but this is just a like long sleeve workout shirt from Lulu and then I have my um Air Force One Shadows on I may have made my sandwich A Little Too Tall may have I think that’s how you did makes it so much easier ow oh no okay pretty good also that’s a fat piece of tofa that’s also the other issue we went on another walk and then now I’m eating lunch I have I don’t know why because I’m not like in pregnancy I’ve been more of a sandwich person like sandwiches and wraps I’ve had a lot but randomly like 2 3 weeks ago I was like I just want a panini like very specifically a panini so couple weeks ago we made like chicken pesto paninis which were so good and then this week I wanted a plant-based lunch and so I’ve been making these like loaded veggie paninis so it’s sourdough bread with pesto Mayo vegan mozzarella grilled tofu bell peppers grilled zucchini artichoke carts red onion aruga and balsamic glaze and I just put it on our little panini press like come on it’s just like a beautiful sandwich and so I’m eating it with some plantain chips green plums and cherries I’m going to eat this then make my first cup of raspberry leaf tea for the day and then probably take it nap just one more minute to admire this lunch so freaking good now I nap good morning it is the next day now and I am making my breakfast my same smoothie I made yesterday already did all my morning stretching movement stuff Matt the door’s this door’s closed so I what I have to show you something is a baby no uh there’s like little Speckles of that can’t be good there like a whole thread someone goes is it sour then wait I’m sorry I’m sorry what what do you think I don’t know you complain when I like need you to get me something cuz I’m pregnant I had to show you this but you I had to show you this you just think I love going up and down the stairs don’t you also my legs are so sore run I was really excited to show you this I love I love the excitement but I’m just saying I get a bonus stair trip today because of I don’t yesterday I think the last thing I filmed was me getting ready to take a nap which is a daily occurrence um honestly I feel like I’m ready for a nap now and I literally just woke up no I didn’t I woke up like 2 three hours ago today is Friday my parents were supposed to get in around like noon but their flight got delayed I really commend people who can like make their coffee or do their makeup like while talking I don’t think I’m capable of doing both like I go to scoop something with a spoon and my my thoughts and my words just stop so I’m just going to pause and explain to you what’s going on then then I’ll finish making my breakfast y’all I’m so tired it is 9:00 I woke up around 5:45 I did all my skincare stuff I did my M circuit which included my first walk of the day and sitting on the ball and all that good stuff now I am making my smoothie after I make my smoothie I’m going to eat it or drink it and then I think I’m going to start editing this Vlog and then after that honestly I might nap it’s like pretty early in the day for a nap but I might just have to take a nap and then my parents are getting here around like 2: or 3: I think so hang out with them when they get here and then we’re going to go out to dinner we’re going to go to one of me and Matt’s favorite restaurants it’s called Cafe Gratitude if you are in the I think they have one of Newport too but if you’re in like the LA area it is a fully vegan restaurant and it’s all um like Whole Foods based too so it doesn’t have like impossible meat like they just like substitute other things and then I’m hoping we can go get some ice cream after and that’s pretty much it for the day I think I I don’t know if I mentioned this but I’m just going to tell you guys about my smoothie because this is my hyper fixation smoothie frozen banana ice plant milk two dates black seeds hemp seeds cacao nibs my favorite flavor protein powder to put in is chocolate this one’s almost empty and I did just order more but I’m too lazy to open it so whatever is left of this chocolate protein since that was not a lot I’m going to add in cookie dough protein also do collagen and peanut butter so I’m going to go make my smoothie and get my day [Music] started let me address the elephant in the room I am up wearing compression socks [Music] I feel like a few years ago budha BS and whatever were just like taking over the world and at least personally like I feel like I would make it all the time and then I just kind of strayed away from it and a couple weeks ago I didn’t know what to make I had a couple potatoes and I just took like everything in my fridge and threw it into a bowl put olive oil lemon and like chili flakes on top and it is honestly so good good so I have this bowl and literally anything you can think of is in there so I have kale arugula sauerkraut orzo cucumbers watermelon radish three types of roasted potato yellow potato Japanese sweet potato purple sweet potato then I have crispy chickpea Red Onion I love throwing in like artichoke hearts or hearts of palm and it’s just this like bowl of delicious good for you things that if you have the stuff mostly prep just so easy and so good it’s been a minute since I’ve talked to you and it’s been a minute since I’ve filmed anything and as I’m saying this I’m realizing I completely forgot to film anything this morning it’s now Sunday we just went to the farmer market and ordinarily I would go with Matt and we go to Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods and all that fun stuff however my back was hurting so badly after the farmers market and I’m just like my body is just like had it at this point so Matt’s finishing up those errands while I just rest and I have my whole like it looks so ridiculous but I have my whole setup right here I have a heating pad my pregnancy pillow and then extra pillows so that I can lay with my leg propped up but also put a heating pad on my back all right I really couldn’t deal with the angle so here we are like I said let me catch you up in the past couple days Friday late afternoon my parents got here hello everyone has hats for their babies when they leave is it cuz their heads are misshaping no I think because they just want to keep their heads I was say they can’t really regulate their temperature and we went out to dinner we went to like I said Cafe Gratitude which is one of my f and Matt’s favorite restaurants it was so good at all as always they have this coconut calamari that is like one of my favorite foods ever it’s so delicious and then I also got bought a eggplant parmesan sandwich because allegedly eggplant Parmesan can put you into labor there’s no actual research on that and I don’t know who decided that’s a thing but thought may as well give it a try so I got that for dinner and it was delicious then we headed over to salt and straw to get some ice cream if you’ve never been to salt and straw you haven’t heard of it it’s like a craft I don’t think Craft’s the right word like Artisan craft fancy ice cream place and they have a good handful of vegan flavors that was very good and then and yesterday morning we took a walk over to this like kind of brunch breakfast place what’ you get baby and had breakfast there and I got some delicious pancakes in a matcha and after that literally I my parents uh left to go out to Palm Springs and I laid on the couch for the entire day my body as I mentioned a few minutes ago my body is just like done I have a week and a half left at most and it’s just like giving up on me like my back is hurting so bad very tough I will probably be laying on the couch all day with a heating pad and the exhaustion is also killing me too and my brain isn’t functioning I will try to be better about taking you guys along with me for the next couple days so we’ll see when we catch up next [Music] oh my goodness that sounds this one’s explosive little lopsided I think it’s from flipping it cuz if you look it’s all shifted this way what I would give that a 10 good morning it is now Monday and let me tell you I am struggling I’m just so ready I have no energy everything is like so hard I really have like like two three pairs of pants I can wear and even like shirts are hard which I think I mentioned this another one that’s why you see me in this in every single video but today’s Monday I’m going to try to be a little more productive than I was over the weekend but we’re going to the gym which again I’m very you know thankful that I’m able to do still it’s really hard and I pr modify a lot but the fact that I’m going is a win so I think I’m going to do some editing probably on this Vlog and then we have our uh 38 week doctor’s appointment today that’s pretty much it for the next like 10 15 minutes I’m going to sit on my ball drink my smoothie I don’t even I feel like I normally have a lot more to like say and I just literally my whole life right now is just waiting to go into labor so I don’t don’t have much to say other than like this baby needs to get out I don’t know if you guys can see from here check out this bump last time we had got an ultrasound which was 36 weeks yeah in my 36th week appointment she was 6 lb 6 oz which to me felt big but the doctor said it’s like right on an average so I’m going to go drink my smoothie on my ball and then we’ll see you at the gym belly what are we doing working out are we doing it I guess right now why are we doing it no one ever questions why and those things when do we want it what do we want blah blah blah when do we want it no one ever questions why yeah why do we want it I don’t really know it causes me nothing but pain mine’s for her she’s not getting any more jacked I don’t know she’s pretty strong [Music] I think Matt’s mesing I mean look at the difference yeah that to be perfect for her one of my favorite times of the day is when I take a nap because I get all like cozy on the couch I ask Matt to tuck me in and then he puts on a Disney movie for me to fall asleep too and today he picked Tangled do you [Music] [Applause] [Music] have hi I know it’s been a long time since I’ve talked to you you might not know that cuz you don’t know how many days it’s been however it is now Wednesday I think the last time I talked to you was like Sunday or Monday but it’s been a pretty uneventful few days most of it has consisted of me just like lounging and sleeping going to catch you up real quick cuz my camera is about to die but Monday we had our last OB appointment everything looked great really nothing to report next time I go in will be for my induction next Thursday if I haven’t gone into labor on my own since then yesterday officially finished packing the hospital bag got that all set and then today just went to my last prenatal pilat class prenatal pilates class I will be 39 weeks tomorrow so I was like you know what let me take a week off and just like rest and prepare for what I’m about to go through so I think that kind of sums up the last Vlog before I go into labor so I’m going to go ahead and end it here make sure you are subscribed so that you see all the exciting stuff that’s happening next can’t believe the
