Ingredients:
• 1 cup basmati rice
• 1 cup green peas (mutter)
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• 2 tomatoes, chopped
• 1 tsp cumin seeds
• 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
• 2 green chilies, slit
• 1 tsp garam masala
• 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp oil
• Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:
1. Wash and soak the basmati rice for 30 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter.
3. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
4. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, and sauté for a minute.
5. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until tomatoes are soft.
6. Add green peas and cook for 2-3 minutes.
7. Add soaked rice and garam masala. Mix well.
8. Add 2 cups of water, cover, and cook on low heat until rice is done.
9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
