BAKED POTATO CHIPS

INGREDIENTS

– 2 medium potatoes
– 1 teaspoon jaggery powder
– ½ teaspoon mint powder
– ½ teaspoon mint powder
– ⅛ teaspoon black pepper powder
– pinch of asafoetida
– ¼ teaspoon black salt
– ¼ teaspoon rock salt
– Other Ingredients:
– 2 tablespoons almond butter

METHOD

1. Thinly slice the potatoes, and pat dry them with a towel.
2. Place all the seasoning ingredients into a small bowl and mix well.
3. Preheat the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes.
4. Spread the almond butter on the potato slices.
5. Sprinkle the seasoning on top of the sliced potatoes.
6. Line a baking tray with parchment paper, and place the seasoned slices. 7. Bake them at 180°C for 10 minutes, until crispy golden brown.
8. Sprinkle some more seasoning. Serve with any dip and enjoy!

MASALA MAKHANAS 😋

INGREDIENTS

– 2 cups foxnuts (Makhana)
– 1 teaspoon jaggery powder
– ½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
– ½ teaspoon black salt
– ¼ teaspoon asafetida
– ¼ teaspoon rock salt

METHOD

1. Heat a pot, add foxnuts and roast for 10 minutes on low to medium flame until crisp.
2. Add jaggery powder, roasted cumin powder & mix well.
3. Switch off the stove, add black salt, asafetida, rock salt and mix everything together.
4. Take out these masala makhana on a plate to cool down. Store them in an airtight container for 2 weeks.
