Oats are so beneficial for healthand weight loss journey. And there can’t be anything more healthy than Idli. You can even store the dry batter for 3 months in a refrigerator.you can make and enjoy Oats Rava Idli for breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Ingredients:
1 cup Oats (powdered)
1 tbs Oil
1.5 tsp Urad Dal)
1.5 tsp Mustard Seeds (Rai)
Few Curry Leaves
Pinch of Asafoetida Powder (Hing)
1 cup Semolina (Suji/Rava) 1 cup Curd (Dahi)
1/2 cup Water
Finely chopped Coriander Leaves
Shredded Carrot
chopped capsicum
Finely chopped Green Chillies (as per taste)
Salt as per taste
red chilli powder
1 tsp Fruit Salt (Eno)
Method:
Grint oats in a powder.
Heat up the pan, add 1 tbs Oil.
Add 1.5 tsp Urad Dal.
Add 1.5 tsp Mustard Seeds (Rai) .
Add few Curry Leaves.
Add a pinch of Asafoetida Powder (Hing).
Add 1 cup Semolina (Suji/Rava).
Roast for 5 min on medium heat.
Turn off the heat and add Oats Powder.
Mix it and transfer in a bowl .
Add 1 cup Curd (Dahi) .
Add 1/2 cup Water (Before adding fruit salt.Mix it and rest for 10-15 min .
Further add some veggies, finely chopped Coriander and Green Chillies.
Add Salt and red chilli powder to taste & mix everything well
Add 1 tsp Fruit Salt (Eno)
keep idli moulds ready,
Greased Fill batter in Idli moulds and place them into steamer
Take out the moulds and remove idlis from it
Enjoy Yummilicious Oats & Rava Idli with Sambar or Chutney.
