MAGIC BOARD #25
We will talk about Alcohol Timeline and how alcohol affects your body at different intervals.
•10 Minutes After Drinking
-Alcohol enters your bloodstream and increases dopamine levels, making you feel social and confident. This is why people feel relaxed and talkative after their first drink.
•1 Hour After Drinking
-Alcohol’s effects peak. Your reaction time slows, coordination decreases, and judgment is impaired. This is when overconfidence can kick in, so be cautious.
•6 Hours After Drinking
-Your body starts eliminating alcohol from the bloodstream, but electrolytes begin to deplete. This can cause weakness and the start of dehydration.
•12 Hours Later
-Alcohol is fully metabolized and out of your system, but hangover symptoms like headache and fatigue persist. Your body is still dealing with the after effects.
•24 Hours After Drinking
-Your body begins repairing and rehydrating itself fully. Energy levels start to stabilize, and the effects of alcohol completely subside. This is why hydration and rest are crucial the next day.
