PALAK RICE | HEALTHY LUNCH BOX RECIPES
Palak Rice is an excellent lunch box meals for all office going and school going kids.palak rice is one of the easiest and healthiest rice recipes out of all the flavoured rice recipes.There are several ways of preparing palak rice recipe,but I am sharing the easiest recipe with cooked rice.
INGREDIENTS:
Palak 4bundles
Small onions-10
Garlic-7
Green chilli-6
Tomatoes-1-2
Turmeric powder-1sp
Salt-1/2sp
Water-1/2cup
TEMPERING:
Oil-1sp
Mustard seed-1sp
Dry red chilli-1
Small onions-6(chopped)
Hing(Asafoetida)-1/2sp
Salt-1/2sp
PREPARATION:
Take kadai/clay pot add palak,tomatoes, small onions,garlic,Cumin seeds,green chilli,Turmeric,salt and water to it.
Cover and cook for 10 mins on low heat.
After palak (spinach) cooked leave it cool down.Add to the mixer grinder as fine paste.Temper with mustard seeds,dry red chilli when it jumps add hing,chopped onions
Fry till golden Brown to get good aroma.
Now add this tempering to the spinach mix well.add ghee and boiled rice(1cup) to it and mix all together,make sure it is well combined. Serve palak rice with any potatoes or Brinjal Fry.
