My Pad Kra Pao Recipe 🍽️🇹🇭 – Meal Prep / Batch Cook Certified ✅

Ingredients –
– 1kg of your chosen protein (I chose beef, but any protein will do – chicken, turkey mince, pork mince, even tofu)
– 4-8 large garlic cloves (depending on how garlicy you want this to taste)
– 7 thai chillis (choose your chilli, add more or less depending on tolerance, 7 was equivalent to a Medium Nandos spice for reference)
– 220g Green beans
– 130g Babycorn (optional – more fibre = increased
satiety)
– 20g basil, thai basil or holy basil
– *your choice of rice*
For more fibre and less carbs, this also goes well with wholegrain bread roll, wholegrain naam, or wholegrain rotis – to replace the rice
– for more protein (but also fat), a crispy egg is a nice pairing (or any type of egg, except scrambled)
For the sauce –
2 tablespoon light soy sauce
1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
2 tablespoon fish sauce
2 tablespoon oyster sauce
1-2.5 tablespoons honey (depending on how sweet you want it, you can add more later on)
