INGREDIENTS:
1 piece (use half) of Whole Wheat PITA BREAD
2 or 3 slices of (leftover) TURKEY
1 tablespoon of grainy DIJON MUSTARD
1/8 of a YELLOW TOMATO
2 tablespoons GOOSEBERRY CHUTNEY
1 sprig of FRESH OREGANO
INSTRUCTIONS:
Toast the pita bread 30 seconds so it’s easier to cut. Then cut in half and carefully open it with the knife.
Add the mustard, gooseberry chutney, turkey, tomato, and oregano and serve.
Turkey is tastier the next day. Find a bagel and create the perfect leftover turkey bagel sandwich with cranberry sauce, avocado, and cilantro. It’s a delicious meal and snack for foodies on the go; specially after Thanksgiving and yearend holidays. It’s also great as a post-exercise snack.
