Hello! 2020 we are starting with some easy healthy recipes, Plant Based Buddha Bowl on a budget! This is a vegan bowl, satisfying, delicious, easy and AFFORDABLE. You can get ALL of these ingredients, on a budget from Aldi or Lidl 🥰 This is not about weight loss but it is about giving your body all the nutrition it needs whilst remaining healthy and balanced! Avo-Break Buddha Bowl:
Recipe makes around 3 meals:
1 Large Avocado
1 tin of chickpeas
1 Bag of rocket (1/3 for each meal made)
6 Radish (or whatever salad you choose)
4 – 6 sweet potato (small)
A small cup of red split lentils (measure out before cooking)
Olive oil (or oil of your choice)
3 Large tomatoes
Garlic/Garlic Powder
Herbs/Salt/Pepper
Brussels Buddha Bowl:
Recipe makes around 3 meals:
1/2 bag sprouts cut into 1-2 cm
1 red onion
1 tin chickpeas
2 or 3 sweet peppers
Half a cup red split lentils
Garlic/Garlic Powder
Herbs/Salt/Pepper
All Bean Buddha Bowl:
1 bag of mixed grains and rice (Aldi) OR Brown rice
1 Tin mixed beans (Aldi)
Left over lentils
Left over Brussels
Radish
Red onion 1/2 uncooked
